These days, we are in the middle of the horrible disaster called COVID 19.
Nobody has experienced, seen, heard about this virus ever before.
So we didn't know how to protect and deal with this evil virus.
This virus hit my country and my hometown so seriously.
At first, we were quite at a loss how to deal with this situations.
However, all the heros working on the medical facilities were very brave and devoted to care the patients.
And they found more effective ways to check the virus and to reduce a danger of medical staffs.
Many countries have seen Korea's controlling systems and amazed with the ways of the test.
Luckly, the number of the patients were going down but we can't feel at ease.
There are many factors that Korea could reduce the number of patients.
But I would like to say "top secret" to protect yourself from the COVID 19.
Actually, this is not a secret but many people don't do it because of their prejudice.
The secret key is WEARING A MASK.
I was very shocked when I watched the BBC and CNN news.
Because they did not recommend wearing a mask to people.
They only emphasized washing hands and keeping a distance from people.
They aren't enough to protect ourselves.
I know some countries don't have enough a mount of masks for people.
And the people who lives in Europe and America have bad image to a person who wears a mask.
I think that's why some countries don't suggest wearing a mask.
But wearing a mask is a very effective way to prevent yourself from infection.
Think about that. It's very logical.
COVID-19 is contagious with respiratory droplets of cough and sneeze.
How far can you keep a distance from others all the time? 2 meters? 5 meters?
Can you keep a enough distance at a supermarket? In a hospital??? On a street???
Even though people keep a distance from others, droplets flies so far.
People can't prevent themselves from the virus without a mask.
If it's safe without a mask, why do doctors and nurses wear a mask and put a medical equipment like a soldier???
Wearing a mask is very simple and effective secret to protect you, your family, friends, neighbors and all the people.
Without a mask, you can't stop this evil COVID-19.
Most of Koreans are wearing a mask when we go out and and gorvernments make an effort to keep enough masks for people.
In Korea, wearing a mask becames a kind of manner in this situation.

Cheery blossoms are everywhere.
The flowers are fluttering down like snow.
But I can't enjoy and can't be happy.
Because I can not go to work and do anything.
I really miss my normal life,,, boring routine.
